The Weatherization Assistance Program assists income-eligible families and individuals by reducing their heating/cooling costs and improving the safety of their homes through energy efficiency measures in homes or rented property free of charge.

This program operates in Monroe County except the city of Rochester.

Revolving Loan Fund

Improves housing conditions and housing energy consumption through the provision of low interest loans.

Program Eligibility:  

Income limit 100% of Rochester MSA AMI. Minimum loan amount $1,000, Maximum loan amount $15,000. Lien recorded on loans over $3,000. For repairs, energy conservation improvements and environmental modifications and/or access for disabled. No cosmetic or other improvements except as noted.
